For this month I am going to keep a food journal. In this journal I will track everything I eat along with the calories count (as best I can). Though I will try my best to be in control of everything I eat for this month, there will likely be some times that I don't control my meal, in those cases I will do my best to judge my calories as best I can.
I will keep track of my sleep, water intake and steps, write in a motivational quote each day and reflect on the day during and at the end of the day. Below is my food journal from today.
I need to start being honest with myself and stop pretending I am doing everything right and that life just sometimes gets in the way. That's crap. I'm sorry but it is. I use the excuse of life all the time, but reality check Megan...life happens for everyone and plenty of people figure out how to maintain their health despite that fact that life goes on.
Thus why January is all about my nutrition, and my health.
Throughout this month I hope to motivate and inspire others to take an honest look at their health efforts. I am going to be as transparent as possible during this month and as helpful as possible. Before I even prove I have can do it I am putting it all out there and sharing the real life process with everyone.
So often we only read the success stories, well I have no idea if this is going to be a success story or not...but I am determined to make it one!
Please reach out to me if you have any questions or would like help in doing this yourself as well!
Now in light of being as transparent as possible, here are my measurements from today, Day 1!
