Second, although I didn't have a bad week. I also didn't have a great week. I only meal planned and prepped for the first 3 days of the work week and therefore I was scrambling on Thursday and Friday to figure out what I could eat.
I did get my workouts in every day because I PROMISED myself I would do every single day of the program I am on no, matter what. I usually workout in the mornings but on Wednesday I had to push it to the evening and I still did it. In the past I would have gotten home from work and decide to skip it.
I love this quote from Tony Robbins, it help reminds me that life doesn't always go as planned, but I that doesn't mean I can't stick to my goals.
Not this time. I have learned that life is going to happen and I have the power to control my attitude about that. I can choose to be pissed, feel sorry for myself and place blame. But I have learned that is not going to do anything good for me, in fact it is only going to hinder me more.
Instead I am choosing to look at the positives of the week. I didn't gain any weight. I learned that with my current schedule it's crucial for me to have my meals planned and prepped for the entire work week on Sunday, and that I need to make sure I plan ahead for any obstacles that may interrupt my normal routine.
One more thing I want to share today. I got an email this morning from a wonderful women who has been participating in my challenge groups with me for a while now, here is the email I woke up to this morning.
This is what keeps me going. Back in February of this year I PROMISED myself I was going to make some serious changes and stick to this "health" thing. And guess what…I haven’t been perfect, but I have STUCK WITH IT and it is because of the challenge groups and challengers like Susan.
